Hi from the team

We make songs for the people who matter

ZeroTalentSongs started because we couldn't carry a tune and still wanted to give our parents something better than a card. We're a small team — a couple of founders, a few collaborators, and an embarrassing amount of time spent in spreadsheets about music we don't know how to make.

Why we built this

Every gift-buying season we'd hit the same wall. The card aisle, the gift card, the third scented candle in two years. None of it said what we wanted to say. So we tried writing a song. We were terrible. The AI tools we tested were either too generic or too weird. We spent six months learning how to prompt them, when to step in, and what a real personalized song should sound like — the kind a grandparent actually plays twice.

How we work

You answer a short questionnaire. We feed your answers through AI tools that draft the lyrics and compose the music. Then a real person on our team reviews every song before it ships. We check that the name is pronounced right, that the memory you shared actually landed in the lyrics, that the chorus doesn't accidentally feel like a different person's song. If something's off, we regenerate before you ever see it.

We don't pretend the AI does it alone — and we don't pretend a human composer wrote it from scratch. It's a small studio with very fast tools, and a craftsperson making sure the output is worth your recipient's tears (the good kind).

What we believe

Specific beats generic. The best gifts know things only you know. Our questionnaire is built to surface those — a nickname, a Sunday morning routine, the time you both got lost in the same wrong city. That's what turns a song into a memory.

Show your work. The 30-day satisfaction guarantee isn't a marketing line. If the song doesn't land, we refund. No revision required, no questions asked. Personalized gifts are emotional, AI is variable, and we'd rather lose a sale than ship a song that didn't move you.

Small enough to care. When you email us, a real human reads it. Usually within an hour. We'll stay small enough that this stays true.

What's next

We're heads-down on the launch — wiring real payments, building out the gift experience, adding the small things that make a $99 song feel like the thoughtful gift it is. If you have feedback, ideas, or a story about who you're writing a song for, we'd love to hear it.
