Refund Policy

We want you to love your song. Personalized gifts are emotional, AI is unpredictable, and sometimes the result doesn't land the way you hoped. This page explains exactly what we'll do about it.
The 30-day satisfaction guarantee
If you're not happy with your song for any reason, you have 30 days from the day we deliver it to make it right. No hoops, no revision attempts required. Email us at zerotalentsongs@gmail.com with your order number and we'll take care of you.
How we make it right depends on whether you've already used the song for its intended purpose (see Cash refund vs. re-generation credit below). The short version:
- Before you've downloaded or used the song — a full cash refund to your original payment method, no questions asked.
- After you've downloaded and used the song (for example, played it at the event it was made for) — a credit toward a fresh re-generation, so you still leave with a song you love.
When refunds are automatic
You will receive a full refund without any back-and-forth if:
- We fail to deliver your song within 10 business days of your order. (Our promised window is 3 to 5 days; we add a buffer for genuinely delayed cases.)
- A technical problem on our side prevents us from generating a song at all.
- You cancel your order before we begin generating the song. Generation usually starts within minutes of payment, so this window is short — email us as soon as possible if you change your mind.
When we cannot offer a cash refund
Cash refunds are not available:
- More than 30 days after delivery.
- After you have already downloaded the song and used it for its intended purpose (for example, played it at the event it was made for, posted it publicly, or otherwise treated it as delivered). In that case we offer a re-generation credit — see below.
- If the questionnaire contained content that violated our Terms of Service (illegal, hateful, sexual content involving minors, etc.) and we cancelled the order. In that case the order is voided and refunded — but no replacement is owed.
Cash refund vs. re-generation credit
This rule protects both of us: you stay happy, and we stay sustainable while still standing behind what we ship.
- Full cash refund — available within the 30-day window if either (a) we failed to deliver, (b) you cancelled before generation began, OR (c) you haven't downloaded the final song.
- Re-generation credit — available within the 30-day window if you have already downloaded the song and used it for its intended purpose, but you're still not happy with the result. The credit covers a fresh round of generation at no additional cost.
Borderline cases — where you downloaded the song but didn't end up using it, or where a technical defect only surfaced after use — we'll decide in your favor on the side of generosity. Email us and tell us what happened.
Upsells and add-ons
If you purchased an add-on (an extra verse, an edit, priority delivery), it follows the same unconditional 30-day satisfaction guarantee as the base order.
- Priority delivery is refunded in full if we miss the priority window, even if you're happy with the song itself.
- Extra verses or edits are refunded if the add-on itself didn't deliver what was promised.
How to request a refund
Send an email to zerotalentsongs@gmail.com with:
- Your order number (in your confirmation email).
- The email address you used to order.
- A short note about what didn't work for you — this isn't required, but it helps us improve.
We aim to respond within 2 business days and to issue refunds within 5 to 10 business days of approval. The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
EU and UK consumers
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you typically have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does not apply to personalized digital content that has been delivered with your express consent, and our 3-to-5-day delivery means delivery happens during the withdrawal period.
When you place your order and we begin generating your song, you acknowledge that the song is personalized digital content and that your statutory right of withdrawal will not apply once delivery has begun. Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee is more generous than the statutory right and applies to you regardless.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong with your order, please email us first — we'd much rather fix it than dispute a chargeback. Filing a chargeback before contacting us delays the resolution for both of us. If we determine that a chargeback was filed in bad faith (for example, after you've already received and used the song), we may decline future orders from you.
